Every night Charlie wants us to read him the Pirate Book. I try to fit in a few stories out of the Children's Bible, too, but he really loves that Pirate book. He plays pirate (although, we have had to teach him only nice play!). I found out that he makes a little girl at school play pirate with him, too. The book is OK in general, we are just trying to promote positive play and not play with any sort of swords, knives, etc. Charlie had some pretty aggressive streaks in him at first but that has really subsided. Thank God!! He likes the pirate book so I keep reading it. I think maybe he likes it because in the end the little boy goes home to get his good-night kisses from mom (pirates don't kiss goodnight!).
Otherwise everything is moving along here. We are celebrating our one year anniversary of meeting Charlie. I will post pictures of that a little later. He has changed so much.
